Winnetu, Martha’s Vineyard

The Winnetu Oceanside Resort has a fascinating history…The first hotel at our site was built in 1874. A railroad once connected the hotel with the Steamboat Wharf in Oak Bluffs. For more information about our Resort’s history, please visit our “History Page.”

Of course, today’s Winnetu Hotel is quite modern (i.e. built in the year 2000) and the Mattakesett homes were built between 1968 and 1983. All of our accommodations offer the modern conveniences our 21st Century guests have come to expect.
